Nestled just behind Peddler’s Village in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, this restored eighteenth-century estate offers the charm of a countryside getaway with the sophistication of a modern inn.
Purchased in 1965, Fox Briar Farm was the family home of Peddler’s Village founders Earl and Sheila Jamison, and their five children. Nearly six decades later, their daughter Donna Jamison Cave and her husband Jeff have transformed the beloved eighteenth-century estate into an eight-bedroom inn and elegant wedding venue.
The recent renovations of Fox Briar Farm honor the venue’s architecture, blending original details with a seamless connection to its surrounding landscape. The post-and-beam barn, with its exposed stone walls, custom ironwork chandeliers, and soaring windows, opens directly onto a bluestone terrace overlooking the estate grounds. Steps away, the original stable has been reimagined as a striking event space that preserves its equestrian charm.
Outside, the lawn serves as a natural stage for outdoor ceremonies, with views of rolling hills, ponds, and gardens that stretch across the 50 acre estate.
The Inn itself offers eight beautifully restored bedrooms and four inviting common rooms, along with a breakfast room and outdoor terraces where guests can unwind between celebrations. For weddings and weekend events, the inn provides comfortable accommodations for family and close friends, while additional lodging is available nearby for larger parties.
